Nope, Impalas came with push-pins. Other w-bodies came with quick-clips and a bolt to hold the filler neck in place, free junkyard mod!

Mine has a u-shaped nut holding clip (look at the larger hole behind the filler neck where it slides on) and a bolt that holds it in. The size on the head of the bolt is 10mm, but I have no idea what the thread size is. It's irrelevant as you might actually be able to get something at the hardware store to hold it properly.
