yes you can bake the glue and be able to pull them apart and do what ever youd like with them.
please remember though a simple thread labeled headlights would be sufficient to post all your questions so far. and most of them so far you would be able to answer by simply using the search button or google search then if you still havent found your answer ask and show a little respect. you are asking someone to take time out of their day to help you.

Have you ever done it? If so, pics...

The factory lights are compression sealed as well as adhesive sealed... they do not come apart easily or without making a mess

It's much harder on the 00-05 impala than on other cars, I think that was where BBE was getting at

I cracked open my fog lights no problem. All I did was run the front end of my car into a ditch. Opened them up real easy. So now all I have to do is just unscrew it and *poof*...the face of the housing comes off.

Also to solve the moisture problem, poke a hole in the back.

The fog lights are put together differently than the headlights. As far as I know, no one here has been able to take the lenses off the headlights successfully by baking them in the oven. I think they're plastic welded.

There was 1 person with a red impala who baked apart the gen 1 halos and color matched the inside of the housing to the car, but I forget who it was..

EDIT: just found who it was but BBE beat me too it lol

That was wedebrook who did that, the halos are a different story as opposed to the OEM's.
