Well, I got my car modded out alittle...with a intake
exhaust and some neat little other mods throughout to kinda bring the whole car together, Im actually astounded by how much women folk loved the car.
Long story short I fell asleep on the way home from work and woke up just in time to jump a culvert/driveway embankment:(
Air bags deployed.
The car looks...ok but the bumper is smashed and the drivers side wheel is pushed back.
When opening the hood it becomes apparent that the motor is no longer aligned with the engine mounts so I think that the subframe and/or engine cradle is also bent.
So what are my options for repair? The car is otherwise in mint condition, with 212,000 miles and still running strong, i was contemplating rebuilding the car before the accident so thats not the main issue...
Help appreciated.

With 212,000 miles on the clock, it's probably time to put the car out to pasture and find yourself a new car.

That's got a bit more flare than I was thinking. But yeah to the OP, it's time to let go of the car, especially if the front suspension/cradle is mangled.

Is it even feasible to 'top swap' the L36 F-body?

Yeah, but you have to modify the snout and possibly some work on the cowl.

Or you could Whipple it.

What about an F-body 5700? Small blocks have a pretty good aftermarket. Maybe even better that a 3800...

Any pics of the destruction? Next drink some E-drinks on the way home. That what I do. Just not too many or you may get kidney stones.

If you don't mind paying the LT1 tax. But I do enjoy the look on people's faces when they get whuped by a V6. It's heartbreaking really. It's like the look of a toddler when you pop their balloon and walk away with their ice cream. It's priceless.

Ya I know it...
the taurus used to be my grampa's car...that man never showers! we have scrubbed the interior and used upholstery cleaner and let it air out for a week and it STILL makes my eyes water in there! PUKE!!!! PUKE!!!!

After I get a car to replace the taurus Im gonna set the cruise and aim it at some trees in my woods...me and some buddies have already planned a bunch of stupid stuff we are gonna do.

One good thing is now I hood-slide and do the Duke's "window entry" lol
The roof rack is good for surfin too.
The thing has 210,000 miles so its not like this cars gonna last very long.

A local scrap yard says that i can get all the needed parts for the Imp for $6-900, including airbags

No offense man, you are gonna find all sorts of other stuff to replace once you get in there (especially given that you have displaced the front suspension). I curbed my Intrigue when I was in high school and shifted the front suspension 11 mm and it was a 2000 dollar repair job for just suspension and wheel hub replacement.... most of that was parts and I didn't need anything cosmetic or a cradle.
