2002 Chevrolet Impala

PostPosted: Wed Sep 29, 2010 1:38 pm    Post subject:  Hello to all Reply with quote

I have been reading for awhile now and have posted a few times so maybe I'd better let all who care that I am a new member.
My recently aquired ride is a 2002 Chevrolet Imala LS.
Mileage @ puchase was approx 91000, price was 6300USD.
It has the 3800 Series II with no modifications.
It is black with heated leather, sunroof and spoiler.
Good thing it came with a 6 mo./6000 mi. warranty as the trans threw code P1811 max adapt, long shift.
Took it back to dealer for repair at @ 92000 mi.
Hopefully nothing else goes bad too soon...I've learned of the many gremlins possible!
My current project is the installation of a high quality sound system utilizing the stock radio. Is that an oxymoron?? ha ha!!
I am married with 2 children (20, 5) and live in the upper midwest.
My work is in construction which at the moment isn't very good!
Trying to keep my chin up!
I'm not driving like a maniac but will probably look into doing a u-bend delete...maybe next spring.
It has been a pleasure talking to you all and I hope that life treats you well!
Until next time,
Roger

Pretty crappy reasons IMO... if you are looking for anything decent sound quality wise (especially if you are going to run amps) you should get an aftermarket deck.
