Well i just got myself a 08 SS. I don't post much but I am definitely a avid reader and fan of naioa, I'm anxious to do some performance mods to her but I'm not sure what i should do first?

It looks great...That red is starting to grow on me...My last nine vehicles have been black, but a red Impala just looks right......Ben

Honestly one of the first mods I would do, would be HIDs. Easily my favorite mod. For now on, any car I buy that doesnt have HIDs will get them within a month's ownership of the car.

Yeah the pics are a little big I took them on a 12 mega-pixel Nikon camera and never reduced there size for uploading. I'm definitely going to do a CAI soon but I'm still trying to figure out the best way to make one I already own a 9'' K&N filter I just need to come up with a way to attach it the the throttle body inlet pipe.

Make sure you take good care of the 5.3 (LS4) engine with frequent oil changes. The engine has the two-stage hydraulic valve lifters. They are more complex than normal lifters.

Be sure to buy the GM Chevrolet factory extended warranty. Most likely one of the best buys you will do ASAP. Just in case something major goes awry. And it always does with a used car (or new one after the standard warranty just expires).

Beautiful car.

Mods? Get rid of those GSA's. Seriously. The car takes on a whole different character with better shoes.

Congrats!

Goodyear RSA's I agree. Dump them as soon as you can afford it.
I use and can recommend the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4, P235 50R18.
