my gas gauge wonders alot randomly it will stay in one spot but not where the gas level is actually and it will throw the empty tank light randomly when theres more then half a tank? anyone had this problem before?

Common issues. It's most likely the fuel level sender in the gas tank.

was the fuel sender access panel moved on the 05 ls? i looked inside my truck under the carpet and its not there

Injector cleaning and fuel tank cleaner won't help you if the sender failed.

bringing this back ....... the fuel level sensor might cost me a whole s**t load of money and i never knew how much i took the gas gague for granted lol ive been searching and could it be the motor in the gauge ??? cause it will read full and empty just nothing in between?

That sounds like the sender in the tank, not the gauge motor. A bad gauge motor behaves differently

You can do whatever you want... but if you installed a used sensor, expect to have to do it again much sooner than normal.. Not really a smart idea

A bad motor usually gets stuck and doesn't return to zero or goes far passed empty or full

Given you have a 2001, if it has more than 100K miles on it, I'd replace the fuel pump and the level sender. They come as a unit (though you can get the sender seperately, but not the pump) and it should be an easy swap.
