Is there any way to bypass the "Service Traction System" warning that pops up? I have narrowed the issue on my car to be either something with the ABS computer, or faulty grounding. I ran a few new ground wires to different locations and it seemed to fix the problem temporarily. The weirdest thing is that in order to reset the light, I had to disconnect the harness going to the ABS computer then plug it back in. The light is back off right now, but if I ever need to use the Traction Control (with a quick takeoff for instance) I am pretty sure it will come back on. I have never HAD to use traction control or ABS in any situation, and it wasn't working through the worst winter Germany had in a LONG time, but the constant ABS/TRAC OFF lights on, and the chimes on start-up get annoying. Since so many people have this problem, I was wondering if there was a way to "tune" it out. Obviously if its controlled through the BCM, it may not be possible, just looking for ideas.

The only involvement the BCM has is for the TC switch... everything else is handled by the EBCM & PCM

I don't think you are going to have much luck 'tuning' it out as it's controlled by the EBCM, you are going to have to fix it if you want the light off
