First time asking for help, so here goes:

Not that this is related but it might be, last time I went to the drag strip I ran with the sunroof in the vent position (rear popped up) for about 12 runs. On the way home I noticed the glass squeaking a little going over light bumps and such. The next day I lubed the outer rubber seal with WD-40, and the squeak is gone.

Now I am having trouble with the sunroof popping up into the vent position, it acts like the rear rubber is catching on the rear lip of the opening in the roof. I can "help" it up and it will pop past the catch and work fine. It rolls back fine, if I don't close it completely down, it goes up fine. It's just from the full down position popping up to the vent position that it catches.
I'm wondering if racing with it vented moved the adjustment some, but have no idea how to properly adjust a sunroof and don't want to make things worse.

any ideas appreciated.

EDIT:
Well, Hells Bells I think I might have gotten it.
I rubbed a light coat of Sil-Glide (love jelly for rubber products) on the rear part of the sunroof seal, and a lighter coat on the rear roof lip. It works smoooooth as butter now.

So I guess my new question is has anybody else had this problem, is there any better fix, or am I destined to lube the seal every few months to keep things rolling?

As I was reading this first thing I was going to say was that it isn't the best thing to use WD-40 on seals as it has a corrosive composition that's great for loosening bolts but it softens the thin rubber of the seal and can make it sticky. ( It can also eat it so to speak Thumb Down )
Glad you figured it out.
Just for future reference use a silicone spray for door, trunk, ect, seals 2 Cents

Also, WD-40 isn't a lubricant. Use silicone spray as 05imp suggested.
