Just got my new emblems today, and as usual I had to put them on right away. I also removed the ring around the pillar emblems. So I decided to give her a good clean and take some pics of my recent work.

I plan to add some decals from the shop. (Silver NAIOA decals for the rear side windows, Black bowtie overlays for the wheels, and an LTZ 3rd brake light overlay.) Any other suggestions would be welcomed.

So now for the pics (sorry about the pic quality, low light.)

I like it... but the emblem on the grille is way off center.

Thats an illusion from the angle of the pic. Trust me, I measured 5 times to make sure it was centered.

If you say so, but I doubt it. The straight on shot looked a bit off, I even went so far as to measure it on my monitor and it looks like its a good two inches to the right... I bet if you opened the hood and looked at the hood latch and emblem it'll be off center.

Two Inches?!? Really? You think it's that far off? Where did you go to school? Laughing

EDIT: Just checked it both with a tape measure and how you said with the hood latch, and it is pretty much bang on.

I like those emblems, they look great on your car. Cool

Iffy you can't measure a picture on your monitor and get an accurate reading. The front emblem looks centered to me, and I have a micrometer eye from being a Tool & Die Maker for 30+ years.

I REALLY like the de-ringed impalas. That's nice. Never seen it before.

I'm well aware, but I can take a piece of paper and make relative comparisons... and relatively, it looks about 2 inches off to me.

It still looks off to me... but apparently my eyes are off center or something. Laughing

Phew, at least I'm not the only one perceiving the picture to be off a bit. Carry on.

He measured it on the car, which is more accurate than measuring a picture since it's 2 dimensional.
