Yes, but you have to take the whole door apart to get them off...

Remove the inner door panel
Remove the belt molding (1 screw)
Drop the window all the way
Remove the window weatherstripping
Drill out the rivets holding the molding into the door
Remove the single(?) screw - I believe it's in the top corner under the water deflector on the top of the door
Pivot the molding and pop it off

To reinstall, you will have to use screws as there's not enough room to get a rivet gun back in there.

It probably would leak. I actually powdercoated mine. Wink I didn't sand enough of the paint off before I did it and I put the powder on too thick so it looks like crap...so I need to re-do them. Wink

Mine are doing similar. I just touch up now and then. I'm hoping to get rid of this car in 2-3 years.

I'm assuming you didn't buy it at Lowes or Home Depot then. I didn't shop around looking for different riveting tools...I just used the one I had in my tool box.

Sorry for the long delay - I have a tendency to skip most of the threads on here. I got everything from Harbor Freight. The kit is about $60 and the powder is around 5 or 6 dollars.

I look forward to when I can journey to Harbor Freight's store in Eastlake. I want one or two of the magnetic bowls fierce. I don't know how many bolts I've nearly dropped. Embarassed
