When i washed my car yesterday the right headlight started fogging up inside... but the left headlight was normal. Any Ideas?

Been there done that, On both f'in cars. Bang Head My end solution for the 02 was to pull the dust caps off for good. Laughing did the job. I'd dril a s**t load of small holes on the bottom so it can breath again. Other than that you can 1) Live with it 2) buy new headlight.

So basically the headlight needs ventilation?

More or less the breather system it has is compromised somehow. whether the breathers are plugged or what, Its not doing its job.

Did you have any probs with the headlight getting dirty on the inside after you drilled the vent hole?

I drilled holes after they started to fill and fog up. No more problems. No dirt issues. The holes get drilled into the outer shell and do not go directly into the reflector area, so most of the dirt risk is gone.

I recall 3 holes in each, about 3/8", straight up, into the bottom.

Just underneath, try to center your holes under each light, and drill 3. The bottom is only like 1/8 inch thick

This happens too me as well everytime I wash the car. The fog goes away after a couple of minutes though. First started when I took the headlights out to put new SS bulbs in. Confused

a small bit of fog is normal according to GM, so long as it goes away its not that bad.

I've had this problem since my wreck, never thought to drill holes. Thanks for the tip. The first time i pulled my headlight out it had a litre or more of water in it...

I didn't known that. Now I'm less pissed and worried about it. I thought I messed it up.
