So since i threw rods in my l67, i can just replace it with the short block from my old l36?

You can, but it would be wise to use a larger pulley (due to the higher compression) so you don't blow up another engine.

Yea cuz this not having a car thing for like a month aint the way to go. I might as well just do that untill the shop gets the new engine in then take it back. What size pulley should i use? I know the stock on it now is like 3.8. And where could i buy the larger pulley from?
