Can someone take a picture of the inside pillar where your spotlight is mounted? I am curious if they are all butchered up or if they used a nice hole saw to drill out the interior panel. Mine looks like someone broke a drill bit and was too lazy to get a replacement. Confused

If no one else gets you a picture, I will tomorrow. Mine looks really nice, and is a perfect hole around the post.

Looks to me like someone broke it and they replaced it with a drilled junkyard piece.

x2

I've had two 9C1's.

I can't find any pics that are a close up of that part of my old 9C1's... but it wasn't as butchered looking as the pic above.

Black 9C1

Green 9C1

I believe you could have all the standard interior colors for a 9C1, Blue, Grey, Tan?

The only thing I can think of is either the light was installed after production or the pillar had been replaced. Hard to believe the assembly line would do that.

They are installed after-assembly quite often, departments will re-use old lights from past fleet models rather then pay for dealer installed ones.

Yeah there's a little bit of a difference there.

I wish my 9C1 had a tan interior, that looks really nice compared to my blue. lol.

I'd just get a new one from a junkyard though, and do it right. Maybe try to find the little rubber piece as well.

or at the very least take a drill bit to that and make it a decent circle so it doesn't look so bad

A Dremel and a grommet could work wonders. Wink
