I have been wanting to have a basic tune up for my '04 LS.... what all is typically done and what can I be expecting cost wise? no dyno tuning, just a basic..

that depends on ur milage....and how well uve kept on on servicing ur ride. typically u do fuel/air/oil filters, plugs/wires, lube stuff... change belts.. flush radiator, etc.. ur service manual should tell u what intervals to do what things... and it can get spendy if u dont do it urself. not sure how much, as i do these things myself.

thanks! my car is running around 87,000mi, my fiance's brother is good with cars so I would probably go to him for help with these things.. but I needed to know what all to be looking at doing so I could start getting things together to do the work. Thanks again for your input!

When in doubt, do more. Feel like your brakes suck? Get new brakes, and get good ones. Not happy with acceleration? Intake filter, fuel filter and an oil change. Recently experienced an engine fire? No worries, replace all harnesses. Easy.
