Well the title pretty much says it all. Let me know how many miles you have on your cars and what your big fixes/replacement/repairs/services have been.

2005 base 3.4
60,000 miles
-Replace intermediate steering shaft
-Replace right front wheel bearing assembly
-Replace left front outer tie rod end
-Replace intake gasket set

100k. I've redone suspension, LIM/UIM gaskets, and a tie rod end. No other major surgery.

2002 9C1, 122,6XX miles.

Before I bought the car; Front suspension, both wheel bearings, rebuilt trans, cam sensor, MAF, and all new upper gaskets. (I can't remember what else).

Since I've owned it; Fuel pump, fuel filter, and Passlock bypass (no problems with it, but I didn't want any either).

2002 Chevy Monte Carlo SS w/ 112k. Only major repair(s) was the was the my car hates me extravaganza. LIM gasket, replaced UIM, power steering line repalcement, transmission line replacement and thermostat repalcement. That set me back 1800 bucks at the dealer.

On the 2002 Before we traded it in:
brakes all around at 95,000 miles.
UIM/LIM gaskets at 80,000 miles.
Control arms at 90,000 miles.
BCM at 80,000 miles.

Was Traded in at 110,000 Miles BECAUSE it needed these:
Front Hubs.
Transmission/ Rebuild.
Struts/Springs.
Driver side door (was rotting inside).
Oil pan gasket.
Valve Cover Gaskets.
Power Brake booster.
Transmission Cooler Lines.
Radiator.
Downpipe Gaskets.
Upstream 02 Sensor.

i'm not a mechanic by any means, so when you guys are saying UIM and LIM, i assume its lower/upper intake manifold? is that the same thing as when I got my "intake gasket set" replaced? thats what it said on the work order and i remember he said it was leaking antifreeze.

2005 Impala Base 3.4

Around 100,000 miles probably.

So far: new right front quarter panel, hood, head gaskets, and intake gaskets.

2003 127K

1.Transmission Rebuilt- turned out that my transmission case was cracked and was causing slip shifts.
2. Upper intake manifold gaskets
3. Oil pan gasket
4. Front Axles

Probably some other things but thats the major ones.

Btw UIM/LIM is upper and lower. Idk if gasket set means that they replaced all of them but i would think so

2005 Base, 100,000 miles

Accident damage repaired
(both bumpers and all energy absorbers, headlight, hood, grill and RF fender)

needs to have the LIM replaced

everything else is routine maintenance or a mod Very Happy

Its been 2 years, so my memory is getting a bit rusty Laughing

First 2000 9C1 I had, 203,000 miles, Replaced the transmission, all of the front end work, struts, ball joints, wheel bearings, control arm bushings & fuel sender gauge?

Second 2000 9C1, 180,000 miles, Needed the transmission done, UIM/LIM, Struts all around, upper strut bushing at the top on both sides, ball bearings, control arm bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, both drive axles, ignition, BCM and coil packs.

As I said, its been 2+ years since I've had them and that's all I recall.

When you replaced the ABS/TCM computers, did you check the ground wire? That has been the culprit twice for me, luckily I caught it before replacing the computer itself!
