Can I access the trouble codes to see what is turning on my service engine light or do I need to take it to a dealer? Everything seems to run right but my milage has dropped suddenly.

You can get a basic code reader from any parts store. Or have them read it for you. Or you can buy an Aeroforce gauge or a tuner suite. There's actually a lot of ways for you to get that info, it just depends on how much you want to spend.

I got a basic code reader online for around $40, but like wanderson said, most parts stores can read it for you for free.

I'll third the code reader. Even if you use it a handful of times to save yourself a trip to the dealer or parts store to have some teenager plug in an OBD2 reader, it's well worth the money.

I enjoy having an Aeroforce in my car. Evap code won't ever throw a CEL again! Laughing

I agree with all of the above. I picked up a basic code reader on sale for $30 and have gotten more than my money worth out of it. That way if anything sets off the cel you can check on what it is immediately and get it taken care of without having to take a trip to Autozone, dealers, etc. etc. or reset it if you have taken care of the problem.
