how could i know if i need to replace the LIM gasket?

i mean i suspect due to my imp lose some coolant and i dont know from where? last night i checked the botle the car was hot and the coolant was in the mark of cold , no external leaks of course , i check the oil an i dont see coolant mixed

First thing to do is get a pressure test done. If the pressure test reveals a leak, the LIM is a likely candidate for the problem.

All a pressure test does is put some pressure in the cooling system with a gauge to monitor the pressure. If you pressurize the system and lose pressure you have a problem. If the pressure doesn't change you are probably OK.

You put the pressure tester in place of the radiator cap. Here's a picture to point you in the right direction.

The shade tree way to find a possible external leak, is to get some carb clean or something similar. When running, spray any suspected area of the leak. If the idle changes, you got a leak. Laughing
