Anyone ever do this on a 3800?
How thick a bead ( 1/8" or 1/4") and did it look nasty after?
Any thought as to why GM didnt just run a bead across the ends.

I wouldn't. We don't do it on our 40 year old casr,don't do it on the new ones. My .02

I usually apply a small bead to the corners where it meets the metal gasket, thats about it....
I love the right stuff (until i have to remove what I used it on) But I dont think I'd use it on the LIM...
Oil pan sure, LIM not so much...
