Lol. Stripe doesnt look that bad. I know i want those tan carpets tho. Didnt know the ss had the tan option. Thought they all just came with grey interior because thats all i have ever seen in all the ss's. Anyone know where i could get the metallic grey interior trim from to replace my wood grain one? Very Happy

Go rip it out of an SS or LSS at a pic n pull junkyard.

you could paint the woodgrain like I did, but it would be a royal PITA to paint it to look like the carbon fiber ish LSS/SS

Not sure if you can order them online or not though.

Are you guys serious?? It's been talked about dozens of times... you can't buy the trim, only the complete door panels and dash panel

You can paint, CF vinyl, or locate used ones if you don't want to pay for complete panels

And like PBSS said, neutral was an option and I have seen a few of them... but IMO, they are far less appealing than the pewter

Yeah didn't think you could get them new.

I would either paint another color, or buy the cf vinyl.

If you go to the junkyard to get them, I would suggest going the long route and taking the door panels off and removing them from the backside. If you just pull them off from the front you'll risk breaking them

Well they are basically glued in but its not a straight piece.

There are several holes into the door panel. The trim has pieces built on it that fit into the holes and that's where it is glues in.

I'll try to locate a picture for you since I am explaining things like I have been taking tard pills.

They aren't glued in at all..

The posts from the trim go thru the panel and then are melted into place

Here's how you do vinyl

Glued/Melted same thing.. haha no j/k thanks for the correction.

But yeah you'll need to take the back part off (i.e...drill the melted part) and the trim will slide out. I used some guerrilla glue on the posts that slide into the hole to re-attach mine and its worked great so far. (3 years and it's been holding up fine)
