I'm at 93k and my tranny is slipping and kicking, I don't even drive it hard and do 90% highway driving, oh well, I'm looking at an 03 Crown Vic LX sport with 95k on it, dealer is only asking $5,000 for it. The vic definitely has more mod potential than my lowly 3.4....we'll see what happens

try and find a 3.8 instead. everything i've heard and read says that there''s a world of difference between the two. Of course, they're both GM's so they're both gonna have the WTF Mate issues Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes but the engines themselves are pretty solid. And the tranny has held up despite all of the crap I've placed it through. (several cross country trips and numerous late runs across the Appalachians)

But this car will make it to 500k in some shape form or fashion
