Hello people, we purchased our 2008 Impala LT last July for commuting purposes and this year I took over the car to help save gas vs. driving the Hemi Durango or the '94 Impala SS. I'm not looking to mod this car like the Impala SS or Durango but I do plan to change the speakers and the headlight bulbs.

Thanks,
Mag

This place is has great information and input when it comes to mods. However, I think the contributors could be a little more helpful in advice on how to hide the mods from our wives.

Well I know the mod bug is going to hit me no matter what I do, lol. The Impala has Edelbrock headers, 1.6 Crane Rockers, 3.73 Motive Gears & Trutrac, SpinTech full exhaust, PCMforless program, and some interior and exterior mods nothing fancy. The Durango has an AiRaid tube and I was hoping to replace the exhaust but I don't know if that's still in the plans since the wife drives it. I will take some pics of the Impalas this weekend and post them up.

Thanks,
Mag

^^^THIS^^^

Performance mods are hard to hide on the bank statement, while visual mods are hard to hide unless your wife (and KIDS!!!) are blind! Laughing

If you have to hide mods from your wife, you have bigger problems. Or you could always play the you buy shoes/purses/etc and I buy car parts card.
