Ok so this isn't really a driving hazard, a comfort thing, a functionality thing, anything like that. This is about a CONSTANT ANNOYANCE!!!

My god, this little thing has been out for a month and I'm losing it because I can't handle non-symmetry when it comes to lighting... So does ANYBODY know how I can fix this? What bulb to use, off the top of their head, before I tear my entire dash out?

I have a bulb for it. Send to BBE to fix it. Youd have to solder it.. Im sure BBE has a bulb as well.

BTW did you ever get you window switch fixed?

I just need to know what the bulb is, I can easily solder it, I do enough work with small circuitry.

As far as the window switch, a little rubbing alcohol to get the black charred stuff off, and all my windows work perfectly now. Wink

Pretty sure the only way your going to get a bulb for it is to get it from BBE or myself. Anyone thats taken apart an HVAC and kept the bulbs will have it. But buying a new bulb will be expensive/not needed.

Id go that route. If BBE doesnt have one, pm me. Ill see if I have one.

Me neither, I was so angry when this happened to me (it was the same bulb) that I bought a new HVAC.
Now 2 of the radio lights are off, HotSauce, are the HVAC bulbs the same ones of the radio? and how hard is to replace the radio lights?

It's not bad if you are patient and have a good soldering iron. The board in the HVAC unit is extremely delicate. I bought a spare from a junkyard to give it a try and ruined it pretty quickly.

I have my old HVAC somewhere around my house, I might see if I can remove the working bulbs.

This happened to me as well and not a month later I had my dash apart and after I put it back together the other side had gone out as well....now that it matches i don't pay much attention to it..LOL I'm sure one of these days I'll just replace the unit, but my radio too has a few lights burnt out in it as well....so maybe I'll just live with it.

Mad i HATE soldering the HVAC boards. Beyond cheap is all I have to say. I've ruined a few, and i know even BB has. They are that crappy.
