What's the omega looking clamp at the fitting on the trans line called and what kind of tool is used to get it off? Thanks...

It's a retention clip. I just used a smaller jeweler's style flat head screw driver.

they were rusted on and in a bad spot to remove them (trans side)

If you need new ones, the dealer should have them for pretty cheap. Just remember it's called a retention clip and they should be able to find it. I can't find a separate part number for the clips in the parts list PDF, but maybe a dealer parts guy (*cough* ZSPOT *cough*) has a better parts list.

Thanks for your help. I got a couple of pics (look like dentist cleaning tools) and they worked like MAGIC. They popped those suckers off in 10 seconds or less for each one. It was AMAZING!!!!!! Started welding the rad. core support back on today and should finish tomorrow. Then putting the cooling system back together, crash bar, bumper and fenders, etc. I should be back together by the end of the week. WOOHOOO I'll be pIMPing once again in no time.
