I'm looking for stainless lugnuts for our '03. The ones I have on there now are the steel with chrome "plating". I searched ebay and yahoo, but cannot make sense of what i'm reading. Confused What should i look for? Shocked

Whats to be confused about? They're just lug nuts with a plated on layer of stainless. Doubt you can make lug nuts from solid stainless, probably not hard enough.
Every auto parts store sells them.

Except I'm still looking for work, and am debating on checking into learning bodywork at 40. If I can with my student loan from ASE (another long story) in deferment. But I have bought from them a razor scraper for tint removal when I had my cavalier. I should have used the plastic scraper on the imp's dealer sticker, but I didn't have it at the time and never thought to use wd 40. Rolling Eyes Whoops, time for another Rolling Eyes . If I can get time today I'll wipe the lugs' covers down and see if that removes some of the rust.

Funny, I was just looking at my lugs in disappointment the other day, as they're already starting to rust on the edges. They've been off once and on twice.

I'm only about an hour or so from them...too bad they don't have much for the 3800. Sad

How are these holding up? I wonder what the down side to capped would be. I looked at McGard lugs, but they're not exactly a buck a piece.

They look like they are brand new after two years. I run them with my 18's during the summer, about 8 months each year.
I have taken them off and put them back on several times. My old 1986 Buick Regal had these type of lug nuts and they lasted 10-12 years before I had to replace them.
I put the stock 16's on for the winter.

Hmm... maybe I'll give 'em a shot. They'd be winter lugs. Well... unless they stay so nice as to use 'em for summer too.

Honestly, I never been there. Embarassed I ordered a razor scraper from them before the scrapers showed up EVERYWHERE Evil or Very Mad , and there are a few more things I'd like to check out if I can ever get down there.
