I hear it's a common problem, with G6's as well

what's the deal? anyone else have this issue? and how can I solve it diy?

mine were frozen shut this morning on the cutty - nothing a pry bar didn't take care of.

Does the door handle catch when you pull on it, or does lift freely as if it was locked?

Yes, the G6's are having problems. But it uses a different setup than your Impala. Different problem all together.

I forgot I made this post, sorry for the late reply.

lol at "indide"

no they are def not frozen.

I had the issue come up in the summer, played around with the handle and locks and it fixed it, but everytime someone was in the backseat and tried to open the door from the inside with the doors still locked it would f- up again. Now it just won't do anything

***K!!!!! Yet ANOTHER EFFING PROBLEM WITH THIS POS CAR

My P/S rear door won't open from indide or outdide...Laughing Previously, the D/S rear wouldn't latch, not this won't unlatch. I can't even open the door to pop the panel!!!
