If the price is right, I might be an SS pilot by Turkey day.

How's that for a change of pace? Twisted Evil

And pictures are useless because all bone stock '04's pretty much look all the same. Razz

I keep debating doing that myself. However,.. even a 2005 is now five years old already.

It's regular SS with 53k.

Went to test drive it today.

Upon closer inspection, this one turned out to be a turd. Won't run with gas cap in place, only runs without. Loud drive train roar at speed. Carpets badly browned out/signs of saturation and then poorly cleaned. Passenger door misaligned with striker causing friction and poor door closure. Trunk spoiler cracked/split. Spot repaint. Steering wheel controls worn. No DIC but does have factory AMP. Ran ok but seemed a little sluggish.

Definitely not nice enough for $13,995.

Ouch. That's gotta ruin your plans for it. Hope the next one you find won't be such a turd.

That's the problem if you want something "new." Then you run the risk of finding a vehicle that wasn't well maintained and it just runs up the long term costs with a lot of immediate repairs.
