so recently they just stopped working. before they would cut in and out between the high and low. then one time i laid on the horn bc some old woman was backin into me and they just cut out and havnt worked since. i just took them off and loooked them over. they are fine. i cant really tell if the fuse is bad bc it is brown and there is no indicator to tell if it is blown or not.

what do i do?

Can you hook up a multimeter or test light to check for voltage at at the horns while you have someone press the horn switch?

your horns are probably shorted out. You will probably have to replace the horns and it's likely you'll have to replace wiring as well.

The horns are kinda in a bad spot and take on water easily, and thus will short out over time. I had to replace my hi-tone and also the harness that connects the two together had failed also. I just spiced in some 16ga wire and rewired the circuit myself. Pretty easy... Just get some wire, some butt connectors and heat shrink. 15 minutes.

First, replace the fuse, no matter if is good or bad, then check the horn relay, and if the relay is O.K. replace the horn, I don't think is neccesary to rewire the horn.

No, they are located on the drivers side & passenger side, the horn fuse & relay is located under the hood in the upper fuse block.

The spare fuses are located in the driver side fuse door, and so is the fuse puller.

Inside the car, is the instrument panel fuse block; open the door and you will see the fuse block door.
