Not sure the appropriate place to put this. I have a 2000 Impala, I want to clean up and dress up the engine bay. My car is gold, and unfortunatley my CAI is red, I need some imput on what to do. There are so many coolant hoses and wires. Thinking about doing red loom to match the intake, but dont know if i should. Also maybe painting the braces, if anyone has any input I'd appreciate it. I will be posting pics soon. This impala is the 3.4. Confused anyone done anything to dress up a 3.4?

You have green...Red and now... BLUE!

CAI is on it's way. And yes it is blue Wink

And including the grill (in my signature) it goes quite well at night.

I guess I should put this out there incase someone else was wondering. Is it hard to remove the top engine mounts to paint them? I am not sure if they have any stress on them or not. Also I am guessing use a high temp enamel to paint? Also while I am at it, where can i find a engine cover for the 3400? If they still make them? thanks in advance.

They're not hard at all. Remove one side and paint it then reapply and remove the other side, do not remove both at the same time. While you're there flip the dog bones. High temp works ~$6 at O'Reilys here, I have a friend with a grand prix gt that used regular spray paint., not recommended though. I assume eBay will have them, i've never looked though.

I am afraid I do not know what you mean? The bracket things on top of the engine? What does this do? Flipping them I mean?
