Just wanted to let you guys know that a big group of guys I hang out with are going to Houston Raceway Park in Baytown on the 20th of this month. If anyone wants to come out and race or just chill and shoot the $hit.

Last day of the season was October 15th. The drag strip doesn't open again untill about April.

Have you ever been on a Friday night? It's horrible. It's so packed w/dumbsh*ts you'll be lucky to get in more than a couple of runs. Especially since they stopped opening on Sundays. Sad

The guys I'm going with say the traffic has died down quite a bit lately. Plus unless I get my brakes done soon, I won't be racing. I'll just go and watch and drink.

At Temple Academy Dragway, I can get 20 passes in if I want Wink

I just made 11 passes last night Laughing

I'd be down for HRP, but I'll be getting out of training on the 19th in Dallas. No dice this time.

You can make it, Houston's only 4 hours away for people that go the speed limit!

I don't think he is a "speed limit" type guy.

He knows me so well Laughing Laughing

I'd love to go to HRP, but after class in Dallas, then a drive to Houston, then back to Killeen, then back to Dallas for the Holiday, then back to Killeen -- ain't happening Laughing I drove 4000 miles in September when I got married. The SS needs her rest!
