With winter on it's way and most shows ending for the season, got asked to do a favor for one of the businesses here on the field. Wash, wax, interior.

Final cleaning of the year. Took about 3 days to do.

You can't tire shine the tires...technically. Laughing

Not many Navion H's around. How many hours on it? IO 520?

Is that a GNS480 that you're piping to your MX20? What about TCAD or a storm finder?

That plane looks hella familiar. Did you ever take it to Diamond Avionics at Lunken?

Not mine. Couldn't afford one even if I tried. Laughing
It belongs to one of the owners of Heritage Aircraft. Not sure where it's been and kinda hard to pin point it. It used to be an ugly Olive green color, the paint is still fairly new....about a year or two old.

About $400. Concidering the work needed done....it's cheaper then most places that'll do it.

Yeah...it's pretty expensive. I finished ground school...I've got a ton of hours. Even have two hours in a Citation X. Wink

Looks great. Cool I've helped my dad wash & wax his airplanes in the past and it SUCKS! 100X more surface area than a vehicle!

Here's some pics of me helping my dad do his Rockwell about 8 years ago.

He sold it shortly after but his new one is no easier.

BTW, here's my Impy parked in roughly the same spot while we were on a trip. Smile

He still has the Baron (smaller plane in the pics) and he had a King Air after the Rockwell. He recently sold it because his Epic LT should be coming home soon.

He's into airplanes and I'm into cars. It's hard to tell in those pics, but my 00 Trans Am was in winter storage in the hanger at that time.

I don't doubt it. It was a nice plane. The Rockwell was too and he had it totally redone inside and out.

The Epic should be pretty cool and from what's he's told me about the 3 screen glass panel, it sounds awesome. I guess it will climb like a rocket and it's really fast. http://www.epicaircraft.com/Gallery_2007/4369.jpg

The Baron is like old reliable. He's had it many years and it's like his daily driver I guess you could say.
