Since the last GM dealer around my neighbourhood has closed a few weeks ago,
I'm thinking over to buy my own OBD-II scan tool.

Browsed a little bit on the internet and want to buy this one
It will also scan the car's ABS system and it's DTCs which most tools doesn't.

Does anyone have experience with that brand and/or tool ?
Any info would be appreciated. Rolling Eyes

Thanks,
Martin, Germany

No experience with it, but it doesn't read Body codes...

If I were you, I'd try to buy a Tech II from a closing/closed GM dealership for pennies on the dollar...

Well, that would be the best though, but you won't get one over here below 1800 Euro, that's aprox. $ 2700 ! Shocked Shocked

So an aftermarket tool is the only way for me.
Is there any not so expensive one that reads BCM codes too that you can recommend ? Rolling Eyes

THX,
Martin

I believe the only ones that read the BCM codes (that I know of) are the TechII and the Snap-On and both are big bucks new unless you can find a used one (like a dealer going out of business)
