how much are you looking to invest in it?

How many miles and what maintenance has been done?

What he said. There's plenty you can do to a 3400, but it generally costs more than modding the 3800.

Check www.milzymotorsports.com, they have all kinds of stuff.

This. It's important to make sure the basic maintenance is done before you sink money into mods that might be better spent on getting it running properly.

You are looking to mod the wrong car...

For a low 13sec car you need to push somewhere in the area of about 300whp. It can be done in a 3400, but that'll take a lot of money and mods.

We know its a chevy my "friend" and if you had searched or done some research on your own you'd realize its not going to run 13s unless you're taking it to an 1/8th mile track. You said you didn't have the money to buy the 3800, well you certainly don't have the money to make your 3400 run anywhere close to 13s then sorry.

This car wouldn't even be a good swap candidate unfortunately.
