I see now. I just googled it. I doubt that changing it is going to help much. As I mentioned before, if it makes it easier to open, it'll be that much harder to close.

Also, from the pics, it looks like it'd be a bitch to get out of the car when the door is open.

Lol. Mines is a 90 degrees kit with changeable stop points. It was set to 90 at first but i changed it to its current 70 degrees. So you guys say about 90 lbs huh?

well, im just gonna get 250lb struts cuz i read somewhere the stock ones that came with my kit were 90lbs

Actually...if the door is 100lbs, then he only needs to add an additional 150lbs to pull the door down. Which is still overkill...but not impossible.
