So just recently the heat only works on one side of my car which is the passenger side. Ive searched around online and it says either a bad blower motor resistor or temperature actuator are those the same parts? I dont no where the actual part is in the car ive looked around everywhere, if there is a writeup for this or if someone can post pics of what it looks like and where its located it would be real helpful

If you have heat on one side, it's not the blower motor resistor (assuming you drive a 2004 you don't even have a BMR). I would look into the blend door actuator on the side that isn't working.

BMR = blower motor resistor. Be happy you don't have one... it's a PITA to replace.
