Im trying to take off the strut off my 04 impala, but having trouble with the two bolts on the bottom, got the nut off but cant get the bolt out... tried everything, is their something im missing here? please help

You are going to want to thread a nut slightly onto the bolt and tap it with a hammer (or rubber mallet) to loosen it up. It may also help to remove the bottom one first.

I can't imagine it being too bad with a Florida car. I'm in for a treat with my car that spent the better part of 7 years in Chicago and Milwaukee...

tell me about it, i thought it would be easy and push right out but i banged on it a little but didnt even think of a rubber mallet. its clean but i guess just stuck, i thought it had pressure on it somehow but whatever ill get it next weekend, i thank you for your help, i didnt think that anyone would help me this quick, thanks

i had to use a 2 lbs mini sledge....
