Yesterday I purchased my second Impala !!
It's a 2003 ex-SP 9C1.
It's still located in the UK, I found it on ebay, the price was very low, maybe b/c it has the steering on the "wrong" side ..?! Wink

I intented to fly in & drive home, but unfortunately the next airport would have been 3 hrs drive away and, second, UK doesn't offer neither temp plates nor export plates ...
So I have to order a carrier to pick it up and bring it to Germany.
I hope there won't be any (unusual) surprises when I see the car by myself, so far I only have seen a bunch of high res pics.

This is it:

I'll keep you updated when it has arrived.

BTW, by having now two Impalas, I'm sure I own aprox. 20% of all Impalas in Germany .. Mr. Green
I know 5 registred ones, maybe 5 more in any garage waiting to be registred,
so an Imp is more rare than a Ferrari or a Lamborghini over here ... Wink

Martin, Germany

How come the criminals get the nice leather seats to sit on but you have to sit on cloth?

They didn't... steering is on the US side (as all Impalas are) which is the 'wrong' side for Europe...

not entirely true. The Majority of Europe, including Germany, drives with the steering on the same side as us and uses right hand traffic, as well.

Today, only four European countries drive on the left: Cyprus, Ireland, Malta, and the United Kingdom.

That's right, wede, all drive on the right side of the street and all have the steering on the left...
... except the Britains.
Yes, indeed, Sir. Laughing

I'm wondering if there is any US company that converts its cars for left-drive countries, like Australia, Japan, etc ? Rolling Eyes

Sounds like you need to start a buisness then ; )
Love my 9C1, great gas mileage also with the cruse on sometimes around 35 mpg.
I would first inspect the suspention like tie rods and CV boots. Mines an 06 and had 105k but it was a Highway patrol car and saw alot of freeway time in Wyoming.
Best of luck!
