Unless they do a visual inspection to see if there's a sensor, you'll be fine.

O2 sim is about half the price of a ZZP PCM, and they don't always work.

Get a PCM with the codes deleted and enjoy the extra benefits of the the PCM offers. High flow cat will still have a bung, so you can just plug your sensor into it, still get readings, but it won't trip the error code, keeping the OBDII happy when its scanned.

And if they do a visual, they can't tell the difference between a high flow cat and a standard replacement. Plus the sensor will be plugged in.

Save your money. Drive up to Springfield and I'll delete the rear 02 code from the pcm for you.

Just watch out. Sometimes disabling the rear O2 codes on 01+ PCMs can cause the PCM to get stuck in a cat diagnostic. The trims will stay positive constantly and cause horrible gas mileage.

I had to turn mine back on but set it to no MIL. WL, if you do it leave the code enabled in that one table, and set the type to "no reporting" in the other table. Should keep a code from coming up and not set the MIL. The PCM should run its 20 second diagnostic, realize that it fails, but not report the code. It's worked for mine so far.

I just looked on DMV's site. They dont do emissions testing in my county. Very Happy Cool

EDIT: Dumb question. Does an 02 sensor have anything to do with emissions?

Thanks. I remember reading about that on GPForums.

just looked over it again. Those counties were for diesel powered vehicles Evil or Very Mad . Looks like my only choice is to get the code deleted. Looks like i will have to put off getting a high flow cat for a while. There is no way my parents are gonna let me get a PCM. Rolling Eyes

Hahaha. IffyG to the rescue! How would your parents even know if you got a PCM unless they watched you install it? Twisted Evil

Why install a pcm when he can have the one in his car flashed?

With a DHP 1.5 while you're at it. Smile
