As suggested by 03dfwimpala, we should do a 3800 performance thread. These are some of the sites I browse around and shop on. I am not going to through mod by mod because most of that is covered on some of the sites. One of the links is a article on how to start modding your Supercharged 3800 V6. Anybody know of a link that covers starting to mod the NA 3800?

Also feel free to ask questions about mods in this thread.

I will cover one Mod though. If you are wanting a high flow intake and you are on a budget. You can build your own intake. This is a link on how to build your own Fender Well Intake for a 3800 V6. I used this and made my own FWI for my old Grand Prix.

Clubgp.com has a lot of useful info for 3800 and S/C 3800s even though its not a company you might want to link that too just because there are so many members with good info there.

Club GP is great with lots of information. I think it has only has one big problem regarding information. There is so much information there, now searching and finding exactly what you are looking for can take a long while. I mean the forum has been running for 6+ years with 15000 members. That is lots and lots of posts.

If you don''t mind please keep the Intense vs. ZZP stuff out of this thread. Thanks for reminding me about 3800tech.com though, I will add it to the list.

P.F.Y.C. has turbos now for only $3000
But thats sucks alot for 3 reasons
    1) its only for the 3.8l engine
    2) i want a twin turbo kit
    3) 3 grand is alot of money to give up on a kit the comes without and intercoolier (imports kit come with intercooliers and are cheaper) XX-(

They are cheaper because they are so much more common and if you get the right single turbo setup it will be fine instead of trying to fabricate a TT. I would get a kit that came with the intercooler for sure, prob find one for 4K and get it installed by whoever you buy it from for sure.
