isn't there a way to come off line in 2? wouldn't that give you a better launch? I thought I read that before...I dunno nothing about that stuff.
On an automatic in our cars? I don't think so. You could do it in a manual I suppose. You'll take off, but I can't imagine it being quicker skipping a gear.

I thought I read somewhere about a pcm mod or something that will start you off in 2nd? It was brought up when someone said they put their shifter on "2" and it went from 1-2 and no higher.
Yeah, looking back, I know it's a buick. I just didn't care at the time I posted the vid. By the way, Detroit, I definatly plan on dippin into 12's. I'll still be here in Bahrain for most of the racing season. I may get a couple runs in before the tracks close for winter. But over this next winter I'll be doing my tranny, and maybe a cam. Don't know yet. I'm not sure how far I want to take this. Just getting to 12's is my ultimate goal for this car. I think tranny and a little more experience/technique will do it for me.
