To the Florida members:
Which tires have suited you well? As we all know... it rains here... alot.... Which tires have treated your Impala best in terms of wet weather and dry weather traction?

I think the ones that are round, black and have a hole in the middle of them should suffice.

I 'unno, I was considering going with the hard, whiteish, square ones that have been around for ages. Figured if they have been around this long they must be worth something.

But seriously, I am coming up on needing some new tires soon. I have had bad experiences with rain, but still want the dry weather performance.

Next time you get pulled over and you know you have illegal tint Follow these instructions: Tie a string around your power window fuse, and after you roll down your drivers window yank the fuse, which will render your windows inoperable. They can't test the film if the meter can't fit over it.

I was in Florida I bought these tires. http://www.tirerack.com/survey.....p;place=11 They have been pretty good, never hydoplaned or anything. Wear and road noise is pretty good too.

I currently have Falken Ziex ZE512's on my car. Very good performers in the rain and excellent traction dry.

I was eyeing the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 225/50R-16's

Slightly lower Aspect ratio than the OEs (assuming the OE is 225/60-16)

I have the Fuzion ZRi's on the "other" vehicle. They perform pretty dang good in the rain.
