disclaimer: these pics are in no way IOTM material and the car isnt even clean.

so i have been waiting to post these pics for a few days, but certain things have been holding me up. anyways, I installed the Canuck Motorsports springs, put the wheels back on, put the new Kumho Ecsta SPTs on the wheels, installed an AVIC F900bt, and have trimmed some chrome from the car. and no, there are not any pics of the HU because my interior is filthy right now and you guys are mean.
i am really considering ditching the billet grille and keeping the SLP grille on year-round. i also want to paint the rocker panel trim red to match the body, but paint the side moldings black. i think now i want to go red/black with just a little bit of chrome. chrome wheels, doorhandles, and headlights should do it just right. i havent put the lights back in yet because i am still trying to sort out the HALO situation. my only complaints about the drop are that i wish it dropped the front down a little more and now i have to roll my rear fenders. anyways, here are some pics. (some of them suck pretty bad)

and this is how i plan on doing the moldings:

i think the red on the bottom really adds to the dropped effect.

also, the color of the door pillars isnt as off as it looks in the pics.

I like where you are headed, but I just realized that the chrome door handles are beneath you. Your car deserves better.

are you kidding?! YOUR the meanest one!!! Laughing

but anyway, i been waitin a long time for you to post some pics. The car looks awesome. and your right the red at the bottom does add to the drop effect. Im lovin the color matched pilars too.
Also...i dont like how the back seems to always drop lower than the front on the 00-05's. main reason why i havent dropped my car. Dont want my car lookin like im draggin a dead body in the trunk Laughing

I like the rims and painted caliper combo. Car looks pretty decent dropped, but the painted sideskirts would make it look better, I agree.

What about an SS spoiler?

What are the black blobs on the front driverside piller (above the mirror) and the corners of the rear bumper?

The blob on the A-pillar looks like an antenna of some sort... I think. Laughing

driverside pillar is either XM antenna or Nav antenna, cant remember which Embarassed

and the damn bumper.... Evil or Very Mad thats a long story, but i will try to make it short.
when my wife first bought the car for me in washington, i was still deployed. one of the non-driving ass female neighbors tried to pull in her spot in the carport, which was right next to mine and smacked into my bumper (i hadn't even driven the car yet!). the bumper was replaced at a body shop with a new one and all was well. once i moved to missouri, the paint started just peeling off at the corners. turns out, they didnt really prime it. they just got a bumper, and sprayed some paint on it. i had an adjuster come look at it and got the go ahead to get it fixed for free at a local shop. problem was, i was working as a drill sergeant at the time and worked from 4am to about 10 or 11 pm everyday, so time was not on my side. that, and the fact that i could not be without transportation for more than a day. now, since i got out of the army and moved back home, i have found so much wrond with the paint that im at the point where i want to get the rest of the car where i want it to be, then i will worry about fixing all the paint and bodywork. there is a BIG deep scratch above the drivers front wheel that was there when we bought it, there are little dents all over the place from my wife trying to break up the ice that formed on the car that looks like hail damage. there are also scratches and dents all over this thing, so i figure since its my DD, i will get everything else straight, then paint and bodywork.

I know you're going to dig something up about haloevo + chrome, but I do agree that your car would look a little better with the chrome door handles removed. They just seem out of place.

But hey, the drop looks good, and the painted rocker panels will look sweet! I think I'll be doing the same.

If it were me, I'd probably paint the trim body colored as well, as it gives it a nice clean finished look. Cool

None-the-less, great looking car. Keep at'r! Very Happy
