So your still running your OE headunit? I was thinking about pulling my Alpine Unit and going back to stock but didnt know if it would work with the Stock Head Unit.

Thanks

Bang Head

First, you're welcome.

Second, it's a lot easier to help people when they give us enough information. For example, in your other thread, you never once mentioned that you had an aftermarket HU, so I assumed you had a stock head unit, which is why I said it doesn't help much. Had I known you had an aftermarket HU, I would've given a different answer - namely, yes, it will help. In your case, the amp is expecting line-level input and your head unit is feeding speaker-level.

Did you use speaker wires for the bypass?

Do you have an aftermarket stereo?
What ohm are your factory speakers?

Factory speaker wire is 20awg.. so 20awg or thicker (lower awg number) is fine
