I've noticed lately there are no good car wash brushes in any store. I've debated over just using a microfiber mitt, but when the weather is too cool, I hate it when my hands get so cold from getting wet. I looked online and found Erie Brush Company. They have both synthetic and natural hog's hair brushes. I called and spoke with this lady in the office and she assured me their hog's hair brushes would not mar or scratch the clearcoat. So, I ordered one, 14" in length with 4 1/2" bristles. It is for commercial use, but holds a lot of soap, and is soft, but not too soft. The first warm day I washed my 9C3 with this new brush and it worked great! Although, if you need a handle, it takes a handle with NPT fittings because it's designed to have a constant running supply of soap. I ordered a handle as well and it's well made out of aluminum with two hand cushions.

Hi PBSS!
I did review GG's brushes as well as brushes sold on a couple of other auto detailing sites. The brushes from GG's and one other site had mixed reviews on being too soft and marring the clearcoat. I decided to get one from Erie Brush Company after talking with her, and if it didn't work, I'd return it and use a microfiber mitt. Fortunately, this brush has performed excellent! I also looked at a 300S! Nice ride!
