no way to get rid of that B.S. banner crap ...
said I was not a member ... until I logged in
then it wants to suck me dry with crap about how it appears you have not created a vehicle in the garage yet.
and this is found when googling "classic impala forum"
... and the OLDEST choice on the front forum page is 2000 - 2005?
PHUQUE THIS ...
How, exactly, is the site supposed to know you're a member if you're not signed in?
A bigger userbase makes commercial sponsorship more likely, which is required to maintain a site with such a large amount of data, so of course you should join or be signed in to use the site.
Not sure how creating a basic garage would 'suck you dry', but if you say so... a garage eliminates the extra step of members having to explain what year, model, engine, trim, and miles your car is/has. Alternatively, it saves the extra time and hassle of a post from other members requesting this information to troubleshoot, as members often enjoy the benefit of here.
I'm happy you've had an account for months, and waited until today to throw a post full of complaints up. This forum is inarguably the most valuable 2000+ Impala forum on the internet.
If you're looking for information on older Impalas, try www.*****.com . Be sure to come back and let us know what you think about their equally 'intrusive BS banner crap'.
