I was reading thru some posts on CGP, and it was regarding a engine swap, and what tools were needed. and in order to remove the axles, they said the needed socket was 36mm.

so 30 something Rolling Eyes

I was at a local mod day for GP's and a guy replaced his hub and had to take the axle nut off and I didn't even think to look at what size it was, sorry.

axle nut = 10257766, M27 x 2 x 18,....which in-turn uses a M33 socket.

I would agree with this!

Also, I believe at this size, a 36mm would be okay for any of the three because the difference is minimal in comparison to total size.

Either way most of us have a 34 or 36 and if you don't, go buy both and return the one you don't use. They're not that expensive

Pick up several. I read one site that said it was 36. Nope. So I went to shop and bought 34 and 35. Nope. Went back AGAIN and bought 32 and 33. But good luck finding the right one!
